Vocal Mediocrity
Because Mediocrity Still Sounds Good.Gimmie That Girl – Joe Nichols
Posted on June 01, 2010This song doesn’t seem to be around in as many places as a lot of country songs, and that’s kind of depressing. This song is absolutely amazing! I don’t come anywhere near Joe Nichols talent, but I had to do this one.
It’s funny how so many country songs, as sappy as they might be, say things you’d never be able to say with your own words.
The video for this one on YouTube is coming, but for now you can listen to it or download it here. =)

Alyssa Lies on YouTube
Posted on June 01, 2010Thanks to my awesome girlfriend, I have a video and channel on YouTube to show off my mediocrities. (Woot!)
Here’s the only one I have so far, it’s the first entry “Alyssa Lies” by Jason Michael Carroll.
Of course, I appreciate comments and subscriptions! =)
My First Mediocrity, Alyssa Lies.
Posted on April 22, 2010Alright!
So, using my mediocre Rock Band microphone and the wonderful program Sound Forge Pro 10, I’ve created my first song.
I purchased the Karaoke/Backing track of Alyssa Lies by Jason Michael Carroll from http://buykaraokedownloads.com/, which is my usual source for songs, and recorded my voice as a standalone audio track, then squished them both together.
Now, I was never really good at this to begin with, and what little skill I had is past rusty at this point.
So, here is my first attempt.
